I just finished rebuilding my tranny, and putting it in last night.

over this year, what i'm definitely buying and putting on

new cat back, probably slp loud mouth 2.
i'd like to do trickflow top end kit, the track heat one.
some 3.73 gears or 4.10s, or i may keep my stock gears, if i go with a supercharger.
for looks i'm buying rear window louvers, deep dish bullitts in anthracite for the back.
i think the louvers i'll buy with christmas money.

I'm hoping all this will get done, i am trying to make it not a huge list so its easy for me to achieve. I can always add more to the list if i complete this things early.

edit, also if new jersey does pass the law where you don't need a front plate this january like i heard a while back, then i'll be repainting my front bumper, along with filling in the holes.

I just sold my KOOKs and some other headers I had sitting in my basement for like a year, so the Accufab mid-length headers are finally going to be installed.

And I have the 4R70W and Manual VB up for sale now on Corral.

With the money from the headers, I bought a built AOD with a 2200 stall TC to install with the 410. No more 4R70W. I am having that put into the Mustang so I will finally be able to drive it.

In the meantime, the bodywork and paint on the Fairlane GTA is moving forward. After that, I am getting a full interior kit for it so it will look great inside as well as outside.

At some point after the GTA is looking good (paint and interior done), the 410 and tranny will come out of the Mustang and go into the GTA and the 390 and C6 from the GTA will go into storage somewhere.

At that point, I'll be an extermely happy person.

I'm not 100% sure on the engine swap thing yet ... I may just put the 410 and tranny into storage instead and leave the GTA alone.

Then, I will sell the Mustang as a roller. Until then, I am going to drive that damn Mustang for all it's worth!

I have a whole new motor that is going to get done. It will be a 364 based off of a 302 "R" block.

Whole new fuel system.

Switch from the twEECer to an AEM system.

Install the roll bar and subframe connectors that has been in the garage for a year.

Hide all the wiring, and smooth out the engine bay.

And a bunch of other little miscellaneous things.....I think I really need to get started on it.

Wash it, wax it, put gas in it, and drive it.

By summer I'd like to have some ASP pullies, MM subframes, and 275/50/15 ET Streets on Prostars so I can try and get into the mid 13's.

Paint on the 62', new wheels, interrior, rear end, and front suspension for the
62'. Beyond that I'm not sure so far for next year. I'll be even more broke for a while.

Last weekend I switched back to black bezel 95 tail lights and was able to keep the 3 sequence turn signals by opening up the outside bulb slot to accept a 3157 bulb. Actually looks pretty good.

Today I'm going to install my Flaming River power steering rack and cut a coil off of the front springs.

For Christmas I'm getting new Corbeau CR1 black and silver microsuede covers and a FR500 steering wheel, so I'll been installing them soon.

Over the rest of the winter I'll get my roll bar put in and tonneau covers painted. Then I need to have my catback adjusted (hitting upper control arm) and have the tune worked out a little.

Well being snow hit early here in CT, I've already started tearing into things.

I have been in my shop for the past week polishing and detailing some of the stuff in my enginebay that I didnt get to do last year. I just got the upper intake back from powdercoat.

I still need to pull the cobra calipers and brakets and send them to powdercoat.

Install another 10lb bottle of the giggle juice along with a window switch and purge kit.

Have the saleen speedster cover painted and windscreen mounted.

Finish up with my guages and some misc. interior work.

Last but not least I will hopefully get a cobra soft top put on.

We're not here to judge. I do think it's great that you're so accepting.

I try to do as little as possible because I'm old and in pain.

Were I local, I'd help out. Wait, if I was local, I'd be covered in snow and unable to move (there's a reason I live in the desert).

Good luck with it mang.

Within the next month or so I'm going to get some new headlights, new tint, new mufflers, fix a few things that don't work on the car, replace some weatherstripping that is leaking. After all that I'm gonna rebuild the rear with 31 spline stuff and 4.10s, then do some subframes. I'll play it by ear after that.
