Hello all , I am new to the board , and didn't really know where to put this, just looking for some info/help .
I have always been into 5.0 SN95 body mustangs, and finally decided to build my own, since I can't find any relatively nice 5.0 SN95's around my area (i've looked EVERYWHERE
) , anyway, I am about to start building a 1994 5.0 I am getting for $550 from a used autoparts place early next month ( it has 50,000 miles on it, car was hit from the back, having it rebuilt, more likely than not instaling a B303 or E303 cam, P&P heads, injectors yada yada ) and have already bought a 1997 SN95 V6 Mustang to transplant the motor into for $2500 .
My question(s) :
1) Will I have to change the motor mounts ? I have done some research, and they say nothing about it, so i'm assuming I won't ?!?!
2) Will the 7.5 rear hold up to get me to the exhaust shop and back ( normal driving, not "getting on it" ) I will eventually build an 8.8 from a 5.0 or 4.6 , w/ some 3.73 gears and stronger axles to finish the project.
3) I'll probably be getting a new computer from Ford, with the wiring harness for the 5.0 unless I can find one on Ebay, already have a T5 tranny from a 97 GT (installed with RAMM clutch ) , is there anything else 'll need ?
