Hello from Central New Jersey. I’m a die hard Ford man new to the forum. I’ve owned Fords all my life, my first car being a 64 ½ Mustang coupe. My kids followed in my footsteps, my son owning a Lincoln Town Car then a 96 Mustang GT before trading it on a Mercury Marauder and then an F150 Lightning. My daughter’s first car was a 95 Mustang convertible V-6 then she bought a 2005 GT when she got her first full time job. That’s why I’m here. I was an ASE certified mechanic back in the 70’s and early 80’s until I changed careers and became a public servant, (much better benefits). I do all my own work on my kids and my cars. When I’m stumped on an issue I usually turn to the message boards for advice. Hoping to share some of my old school knowledge here and get some updated information from the younger guys and gals on this site.
