I'm doing a lot of the work on my son's 68. Have done a lot of stuff mechanicaly to the car. But....... I am about to go batty fooling with these dern signal lights!!!!
Everything else works.... I mean everything...... except the signal lights.
Have had a meter on all the wires I can understand about on the schematic. All checks A OK...... except the signal lights STILL DON"T WORK..........arrrrrgggghhhh!

OK, did you check the flasher relay? The car has two, make sure you check the correct one.

Short of that, it's likely your turn signal switch is shot.

I agree with 2+2GT. Those turn signal switches are not the most robust things on your car and they do wear out. I had to replace mine twice in the last 20 years. Judging by how many people actually USE their turn signals down here in Florida, I bet most are never replaced.

If you replace the turn signal switch, make sure you use some electronic grade lithium grease on the contacts where they contact the horn ring, otherwise they will wear out much more quickly.
