where is the "engine code"? It's the code I need to send with the order of the SCT2 tuner, but I don't know where it is. I read "inside of the passanger side kick panel" But I don't see it anywhere.

Thanks guys

The computer code will be on the EEC, you'll have to pull the passenger side kick panel off to get at it.

There's supposed to be but most Stangs don't have it, mine included, but yes, check there first.

good point. for anyone else that needs the code, check the for the sticker first, if its not there then do what he said.

Wilduhbeast--did the sticker match the code on the EEC?

what he said. if all you found were 3 numbers, i'd check again for something that matches the sticker on your door. i didnt look inside the kick panel (on my car) so i dont know exactly where it should be. my sticker said something like MDE2. thats what i told the tuner and it works. better make sure just to be safe.

Yeah it was 4 digits, and my sticker on the door was just barley hanging on.

I read that 3 numbers is also common among some year stangs(not sure which) at least. So if you have 3 digits, don't think your wrong.

I ordered that mustang tuning package with the 3.73's.. 539 bucks I think.

Hopefully I'll see the value in it!!

I know my code wasn't on the door sticker. I had to get it off the computer. It will be 4 digits. Mine was GTG2.
