My parking break light has never worked in this car (it comes on when you start the engine then back off with the other lights, but not when you pull up the break) :( For some reason, it started coming on for no reason yesterday when I was driving. It has started staying on longer, and will only go off when I push down the break or put it in park, as soon as I let off the break it comes back on.

Any thoughts ?

Thanks in advance.

The ebrake has a switch that turns the light on mounted on the rear of the ebrake handle. You would need to remove the center console to gain access to it. There are two oval covers, one on each sidle of the rear of the console. Remove them, remove the 4 bolts, lift up the shifter boot and remove the 2 screws. The center console will come out and allow access to the switch so that it can be adjusted or replaced. There isn't much adjusting you can do to it.
