Hi guys my name is mark I'm from mass. here's a little about me i have three boys one in a wheel chair i got divorced about three years ago and lost all my toys but i got my kids that's all that mattered to me. well need less to say i' with a amazing girl who loves cars and drives a 95 gt, she great with my kids and her car is falling apart and i have just been putting band aid on it to keep it going it's her baby to say
Its time to pay her back for what she's done for me.
My older builds were and 69 mach 1 the body was shoot quarters frame rails torque boxes etc. i spent two years in my parents garage rebuilding this one the drive train was in good shape so that just went back in. metal work was more my thing then. My other was a Little more intricate as i was a little older it was a 83 Nissan 280 zx that i restored to original and than the guys in the speed shop next to my work convinced me to tub it, i did a 55 Chevy pick up a couple of months earlier for my boss with a jegs kit and had allot of fun it even went straight after lol. so i cut all my work out and got to it i made the full frame for this one out of 2x3 tubing front to back with eight point cage i kept the stock front suspension just lowered it two inches and fab new strut brackets the back i went with a four link set up with adjustable coil over and a shortened ford 9" with 4.11 gears sitting on 29x18.5 mickeys. motor and trans was some other brand SORRY.

So to her car the body i a little rough but metal works no a prob for me so i'll take care of that after. the motor and trany is on the way out. it's a automatic aode tran slipping in third od is gone big ng. I picked up a used motor to a couple of weeks ago and have started the rebuild of it. after tear down i found almost every thing is still in spec so I'm just getting i dipped and putting new bearing rings ect and all new head seals and return to factory. This is the motor shes going to use while i rebuild the old one the future stroker. money is key for this project so it going to be in pieces.as far as the trans I'm lost still aode's for 5.0 are hard to find in my area i found one from a 3.8 with 22000k came from a swap seen title I know it weaker or people say it is. I know nothing regarding transmissions any one who would like to help me out i would love the help with this. I think i'm going to do the swap to t5 or t45 just not yet due to the cost.
