Hi,

My name is Nick and I am going to be purchasing a 2003 Mustang GT 5 speed manual that is pretty fully loaded with leather, mach stereo, bullitt wheels, and only 38k original miles. FIRST thing I am going to do is take it down and have exhaust put on it.

MY plan is I am trying to decide if I want to order a SLP Loudmouth 1 cat back for $500 with the 3.5" double wall tips OR buy a pair of flowmaster Super 10's and a pair of 3.5" chrome tips and have a local exhaust shop install them. After seeing a Loudmouth 1 muffler I am leaning towards the Super 10's because the Loudmouth 1 have NOTHING inside of them, it is the same as running straight pipes so why waste my money. I live in a neighborhood with little kids and was going to go with the Super 10's since I think they will be a little quieter than loudmouth 1's. Honestly my favorite part about the SLP kit is the 3.5" double wall tips that come with it and I know you can buy those tips seperate but I'm not paying $80 a piece for those tips.

Basically by the time I buy the two Super 10's and both exhaust tips + labor to have them welded in the SLP cat back is going to be about $50-75 more.

Which would you go with? Both of my buddies had GT's and one had the 10 series and one had the SLP's and honestly the 10 Series sounded perfect and the SLP's were a little loud for me.

Also does anyone know a cheap place where I can get these SLP Tips I really love them but $80 a piece sounds pricey.

I really like the SLP double wall 3.5 tips and I'm only saving about $75 going with the flowmaster 10's since I can install the slp cat back my self, I'm just going to order the SLP Loudmouth 1 cat back.

Where is the best place to get the M31007 kit? That's the one I need just looking for the best price.

Cheapest place I've found so far is EFIMustangs at $469
