next mod... opinions...

I am not sure how much a X pipe will give since he's in CA and will have to pass emissions. I don't even know if the catted X pipes will pass. I think the aluminum driveshaft and some drag radials would help with getting your power to the ground. By the time you do bolt-ons like heads, cams, and headers; you are getting close to centrifugal blower money. 4.10s with a centrifugal would be a nice combination.

well thanks for the suggestions. i just order 4.10's and an o/r h pipe (love the sound compared to the x) guess ill worry about smog when it comes time. ill probably be purchasing a lca is the next few weeks.

i would sure love to get a vortech s/c been lookin into them a lot but not sure funds will allow it right now

The stage 3 Roush is putting down about 380 HP, they have a better suspension (for corners anyway, better matched shock/struts, springs and sway bars), and better tires.

To beat a stage three you're going to need some help, mainly in the power and tires department. The off-road H isn't a bad idea, since you can swap the stocker back on for inspections, only takes an hour or so. Next I would do LCAs and sticky tires.

For future mods, I would suggest two basic options a supercharger (I would go with a twin screw), that would put you well past the stage 3 in terms of power, or heads cams and possibly the new C&L intake coming out, that should put you around the power level of the stage 3 but since they have a roots blower they will probably have a better power curve.
