Gears or if u dont wanna do that get a throttle body.

Definitely get gears and a good shifter. There's no reason to get a new T-body at this point, your money will be better spent elsewhere, as in gears.

what else do i need to get when i order gears. i know i need the different tooth thing for the speedo. is that it? and were 8.8" right?

Yes 8.8. And you can order an install kit that will come with all the things you need to install them. But I would let a shop do them unless you have experience working on rear ends.

And before doing a throttle body I would go with a bigger mass air meter. That will get you more hp on a stock set up that a tb.

3.73 are the most common. 4.10's will increase your acceleration but you will be pushing higher rpm's on the freeway.

yeah definitly 3.73s next then go with an edelbrock performer. That was my order and the two mods that have given me the most gain so far.
