Next Suspension Mod

Hey guys,
i am looking to get a new suspension part and would like some advice from you guys. i was thinking the MM panhard bar, but when i whent to apex motorsports here locally they where telling me to get the torque arm first.
i so far, in terms of suspesion, have mm coilovers, mm lca's, and sfc's.
i am looking to get the best handling out of this.. i thought the phb should go first... i am going to be doing the other one sooner or later, but it might be 6 months plus by the time i get to the other part...
anyway guys, any opinion would be most helpfull..

IMO, you need to us ethe adjustable upper control arm for the rear (ones with heim joints) to keep them from binding, when you do that you'll need to go panhard bar to keep the rear under the car. Try that first, then check out the torque arm.

ok guys i basically called maximum motorsports and stangsuspension and asked them what i should do, they both said that the torque arm require the panhard bar.
apparently apex is wrong....

This is very very true. I was really surprised with the difference that I felt with the panhard bar. It takes all of the mushy feeling out of the rear when you’re hard in a corner.

i am trying to see if i will have fitment issues... does anyone with the phb have a lot of pictures of their phb installed and how much room their is in their in regards to the exhaust... or maybe someone can take a bunch of pics? i would realy appreciate it...
i am afraid that in my car the bar will fit, but they are just gonna be like... w.e might as well make it more roomy and have the exhaust bent or moved around... i really would rather spend as little money as possible!! lol...

Negative. With the MM PHB, you either want the stock UCA's or the FMS UCA's. You do NOT want anything with a firm bushing (i.e. poly or spherical) in the upper, as that will INCREASE bind.

Apex is wrong in telling you that you need the T/A first. You either install the PHB, then the T/A, or do them at the same time. Furthermore, when/if you install the T/A, you will need to get new rear springs, just an FYI. Because of them telling you that (Apex), I'd go somewhere else to get it installed.

I am getting this worked out right now. I have Bassani cat back on my car and there was no way that it would fit with the panhard bar. I don't think that JBA will fit either. According to MM the only ones that they know will fit is stock, Dyno Max (which I am gettingthe tail pipes this weekend), and Flow Master. I called Bassani and it turns out that they now have a cat back that will fit around the MM panhard bar for the Fox bodies and the tech thought that they had it in the works for the SN95 cars but it is not out yet.

Get the panhard, I want one but gotta save up for new springs and shocks first. Since you are planning on getting a torque arm down the road dont worry about UCA's because you wont use them anymore with the torque arm.
