I'm a Flyers fan and that series with the islanders was tough to watch.. Flyers barely showed up especially the top line so now i'm looking forward to a Tampa Vegas final

To be 100% fair...

Dallas would've more than likely missed the playoffs altogether if the pandemic hadn't paused the season.

Jim Montgomery, who was an incredibly effective and unconventional coach had just been fired. Rick Boweness hadn't brought the team around to his way of thinking yet, Benn and Seguin weren't producing, and even Bishop seemed off his game in the net. It was REALLY looking bad for the Stars.

That long break did something though, and they got to Canada ready to play. Other than the boneheaded decision to start an injured Ben Bishop in game 5 against the Avalanche (You've got Dobby, Bow, and Oettinger on the bench and you start a hurt Bishop??? One would be a starter on virtually any other team, one is NHL-ready and will be moving on next year if the Stars don't promote him from the AHL affiliate, and the last is this young hotshot who might just be the greatest raw talent in goal in the AHL right now), Boweness has been making great calls. Jamie Benn has the fire back, Dobby has been THE MAN in the net, and Radulov has been a BEAST.

I don't blame anyone for sleeping on us to this point, but it's time to wake up.

Yeah you make very valid points and I don't get to watch much Dallas games being in NJ but I gotta say i'm impressed with Radulov

Congrats to the Golden Knights for their second impressive playoff run in such a short existence, any expansion team that can show up in the playoffs for their first three years and contend for two of their first three years will be a force to be reckoned with for awhile.

Keep giving 'em hell! If the Islanders can drag this out to 7 games, my Stars will be well-rested to face a tired opponent!

I just read the news that Jim Montgomery was hired by the Blues as an assistant. The Blues were already an amazing team before that hire... with Monty on the bench helping coach? The whole damned league better get ready for one hell of an ass-whoopin' next year.

I’d be happy with a tired Isles in the finals!

I feel they need one more offensive piece, but it should be an exciting next few years!! Trotz has been great, and I love the players buying into his system!

Yeah if your an isles fan you can't be upset with their run this year... I don't think many people seen it playing out the way it did but next year expectations will probably be pretty high for that team
