So i'm relocating the battery to the trunk, i have a optima battery supose to be leak proof. Do i still need it in a battery box? peace

I am sure you still do, A strongly bolted down battery box will keeps the battery from bashing in your head if the Sh#@ hit the fan.

yes and you can get the moroso or summit racing and jegs have one and make sure it is vented etc...I had the moroso battery holder it looks nice and is legal
