So i noticed a miss while driving home friday night.I checked all the ignition causes, nothing wrong there.I check all the exaust tubes with the laser temp gauge.I had 1 cylinder cold.I then did the compression test, had 50-60 on the cold cylinder,so off came the valve cover.

I tend to agree. Once the rocker gave the rod bent. I didn't see a branding on them. What kind are they?

They are Crane or proform I dont remember which.Yeah iam hoping it was just a bad rocker.I think i will put another rocker on that spring and move the motor by hand to make sure the valve is not bent or binding up.Iam just glad i know why it was missing,Last night sucked thinking about it and not knowing lol.

I hear ya. I would rather know it was a serious issue then not have any idea what a problem is I stay up late sometimes working on it. Its like me Cobra has been making a dull clunk in the rear when applying power after coasting. Bugged the hell out of me cause I had no clue what it was. I just figured out its the IRS bushings and its the last thing I woulda thought of. Because just like your parts they were newer higher performance versions. I hate defective crap.... ecspecially after warrenty runs out

I bet they are proforms, they are notorious for breaking, just do a search about them. I would upgrade to a better set soon.

I called proform and told them that the rocker just broke in half. They told me that a new rocker would be in the mail tomorrow.Good customer service but iam still going to change them out to a better set.At least the new rocker will get me up and running.

Good to hear that they have good customer service. I'm with you though, change them out when you can and throw those on Ebay.

They are good rockers, just not when you have high lift cams and high spring pressures. I think they would be a good stock upgrade but not on a performance engine.
