Looks outstanding! Could you get a sunroof in 78?

It seems that I heard that you could not get a sunroof on these from the Ford factory, but dealerships would install them as an option. I am wondering the same thing.

That defintely ain't no factory sunroof, good looking car though
I showed a guy at work that auction the other day, he said "yeah I had one just like that, had the Cleveland heads, that thing would run 140mph"
so he said, hehe

Yes, a nice car...but 10K nice? Perhaps with half the mileage and a few less other minor modifications in addition to the non factory sunroof that would normally hurt it's resale value. A vehicle history report indicating number of previous owners would be nice too, considering all the claims being made in this cars listing.
The finer print in the as states the car has "NO" aftermarket parts, and all original etc. Well, perhaps they didn't notice or realize...the car has an aftermarket stereo, radiator cap, extra dash guage on left side of steering wheel...has no antenna affixed to base, aftermarket windshield decal, poorly aligned fenders to hood (both sides), Cobra II louvers minus snakes, missing rear bumper trim (repainted?), missing "F" letter on hood, non factory aircleaner wingnut, hose clamps, missing underhood insulation (repainted underside?), and an exterior coat of paint that (considering age and mileage) looks too good in some shots, yet not so good in others. It isn't consistant with the condition of paint on the mouldings either. The green in the pic inside of the drivers door and reflecting off the steering wheel could be from the flash and background...one could only hope.
Not trying to be critical or overly picky about some generally insignificant things, but can't help looking closely at cars that have such highly touting descriptions of things in their listings. But, on the other hand, inattention to minor details often means everything else may not be exactly as it seems.
This company selling the car states, "A picture is worth a thousand words, and they announce Perfect." Well, I guess perfection is in the eye of the beholder...and perhaps they should have posted less pictures to make that claim!

the 140 was referring to his top speed, I didn't however know of any Mustang II that had an accurate speedometer up to 140, 120, maybe, but didn't they take out the 120's in 76 or 77? and not available in 78? or am I wrong about that one?

I'm not doubting a Mustang II will run 120, but claiming a speed thats not registered on the speedo is usually a little far fetched, besides the only thing that would slow a Mustang II down is the aerodynamics a Ghia gets much lighter in the front end at 100 than a Cobra does. With the airplane gears in the rear you really dont' have to worry much about hitting a top speed, just anything that could get in your way. Besides those are illegal activities and I would never do anything like that on the public highways (mostly cuz I don't have the opportunity), hehe

Only in the states my friend I took my Cobra overseas on my first assignment in the AIR FORCE
It had 2.73 gears in. It was lots of fun where "illegal activities" virtually don't exist
