Nirous on hypereutectic pistons????

Anyone ever run juice on hyper pistons I have a 74 block with 289 hipo heads hyper pistons, bout 10.1 compression and wanting to put 100 wet kit. any tips trick........

There are plenty of folks that have posted that use nitrous with their hypers. Just be conservative with the shot size and especially the tune (rich). The hypers are very strong, but not as forgiving (ductile) as forged pistons. So they won't tolerate detonation or things going lean.

my friend ran keith black domes on his car with trick flow heads and all kindsa of other mods he ran a 200 shot he ended up cracking the block in half on the dyno he put 440 hp n/a and had 581 ft lbs at 4200 with the 200 shot when it broke the piston took that they re still in great condition

u can use them but don't go any higher then a 100 shot and don't go all nutty on use now

as long as you keep it under a 100 shot and have a way to adjust the timing and running 1 set coller plugs yuo should be fine i plan opn running a 150 shot on my keith black hyper pistions
