My car came with Dyno Tune Dry Nitrous kit, and some people told me that it is bad for the nitrous feed to be ran right in front of the mas air insteed of by the TB

It should be after the mass air meter.

Yep, 3 to 6 inches from the throttle body is what most manufacturers recommend.

Depends on the kit. Some kits are designed to be in FRONT of the mass air meter and let the eec add the fuel.

Most dry kits though go AFTER the maf and spike the fuel pressure to add the extra fuel.

So, to answer your question correctly (unlike everyone in this thread), the answer is both depending on the kit

What do your instructions tell you???

I've yet to see one before the MAF but if you say so, you MUST be right. We'll all bow out and let you answer all the tech questions.
And proving your point goes a lot further than slamming everyone elses answers. IMHO.

Compucar dry kits go before the maf. Not sure if all compucar dry kits do, but the only ones i've seen do.

I slammed no one, I just posted correct info. If thats slamming, then im guilty as charged

i'm was under the impresion that most dry kits went in front of the MAF because they need the computer to add more fuel since the nitrous system is not doing it itself. after looking at a few nitrous system install instructions it looks like most dry kits install nitrous nozzle between the MAF and the TB.

GRN92LX is right....I had never heard of a kit like that so I looked it up.
http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=118 This Dry system utilizes your factory injectors to add the extra fuel needed to make more power. By spraying Cold Nitrous oxide across the MAF (Mass Air Flow Sensor) it tricks the factory computer into thinking there is a lot more air going into the engine. The Vehicles factory ECM adds additional fuel via the OEM fuel injectors. Simple, clean and very powerful!
