Hey guys I was looking at getting the NOS kit for the ol GT here and I was just wondering. Hypothetically, if you were to have the Nitrous installed on the car, and get rear ended or something, and the cop notices you have a nitrous bottle in the trunk. What happens then? And if you are not caught using it on the street and you get in an accident (your fault) can the insurance company bail on you?

If the cops are that hard about stuff, don't open the trunk.

I see late model camares with the bottle propped up in the hatch like an advertisement or a billboard, with no blow down tube. As you know that's in the cabin with the passengers. Never seen one thing said about it.

Anyone know the real legallity of Nitrous on a street driven car? I did a search and nothing came up!

That could be something that varies from state-to-state, sorta like helmet laws for motorcyclists. Trabuco Canyon is Cali, right? Start looking at MV laws for Cali on-line.
