can somone help me out i have a 95 gt thats been heavely modified its got trick flow uppers and lowers 40lb fuel injectors supercharger headers and lots more, i am wanting to add a dry NOS kit to it and am wondering if 40lb injectors will be enough fuel for this, its a beast as it is now but i want to do some draging with it nothing serious but want to add the nos, i dont want to go wet due to me being a mechanical tard, dry kit i can do and read that if my injectors cant give enough fuel it can be bad, but they mostly talk about stock injecters and well mine are far from it its got an after market fuel pump as well i am thinking fuel wont be an issue but i aint a pro they guys at a performance shop here says i will have no issues with it at all but its always good to get peoples openions thats already been there, done that so if anyone can help me please do.....sorry for my spelling and punctuation i aint to good at that kind of stuff....

You have a supercharger and want to run Nitrous at the same time? That's pretty brave. I don't know how much HP shot of Nitrous you want to add but I highly doubt you have enough injector for it. Why not just change the supercharger pulley for more boost?

Why not just install a methanol injection kit? Depending on what kind of power you make now, a meth kit can easily be worth 50-70 hp at the wheels. Washer fluid is a lot cheaper than nitrous to boot.

i have an underpully for the supercharger but i keep reading that powerdine belt drive systems like to break with the smaller pullys cause it gives to much boost its a internal belt drive system not gear driven, i am looking into a 50-75 hp shot of nos and raceoholic i have never heard of that but i am doing some research into it if you have any more info please let me know

In a nutshell, a methanol injection system consists of a tank, pump, lines, and a nozzle. The nozzle is placed in the discharge tube before the throttle body. A 50/50 mix of water and methanol is pumped through the nozzle, which sprays the vaporized mixture into the intake manifold. This mixture greatly reduces intake temperature and essentially increases the octane rating of the fuel mixture in the combustion chamber to a race gas level.

The increase in power comes from the ability to add more timing to the engine as boost increases, so a re-tune is required. The lower intake temps and increased timing is the perfect recipe for a lot of extra power. The amount of methanol injected can be controlled via a programmable controller that uses boost pressure to determine how much fluid to inject.

Snow Performance makes some good stuff. I've used their kits with great success in the past. I have some left over parts if you're interested. Rick 91GT is a site sponsor and a vendor for Snow. He'd probably be a good source to get a new kit from.
