the car is a 89 5.0 5spd 2.73 gears with a 250 shot of NOS. when i spray it it doesn't pull much harder than the motor would off spray. The bottle psi is low because i dont have a warmer on it, so i know thats part of the problem. But my 250 shot vs a cobalt ss/sc with a 100 shot with the same bottle psi the cobalt pulls way hard than mine. So my question is does nitrous have different effect on 4cly to a v8 and will bigger gears be my benefit?

a 250 shot should feel like u tripled ur power if your bottle pressure is super low cause no bottle warmer that can make your 250 shot feel like a 50 shot....................hopefully u have done the right things to use a 250 shot if not no bottle warmer was a blessing................i was spraying a 125 shot on a stock motor with no other change my et was 12.95 with no shot 14.80......becareful

What size is the bottle? If its a ten pounder you are only gonna get a few good runs in before you use up the bottle. I had a 65 shot on my srt-4 and I could get about 8-10 runs in before the bottle pressure was too low.

get a bottle heater and a set of 4.10's or 3.73's

2.73 are good for nothing but a paper weight

Make sure that you dont have any leaks between the solenoids and the plate. Sounds like the nitrous is not making it into the intake.
