nitrous question

Hey, my friend has a 94 cobra and he his thinking of putting nitrous on it. My question is, how hard was it to install were there any other parts needed that didn't come with the kit? How hard is a dry system on an engine? He doesn't want to go into his engine but he wants some power, is this the best way to go? 100 shot is 100hp right? Oh i forgot, his Cobra has 70,000 miles on it. Thanks guys

zex make a very nice dry kit for bout 500-600 or so. Very easy to install comes with everything you need summit sells it. you can use 75-100-125 hp jets MM&FF used this kit on a 100k+ miles stock daily driver gt(5.0) with no problems. 70k is nothing on a well lubed and maintained motor. if he wants more power screw nitrous get a blower? you dont have to tear into the motor and he will enjoy it more specially on a cobra.

Thanks for the responce, he would love a blower but he can't afford it. He wants to get into the 12's and he thinks this would be a good way. The main thing he was worried about was damaging the engine. Thanks

I run a 150 shot on my 93 coupe with no issues, i do have a upgraded fuel system and AFPR, with some gears he will se 12's no problem...make sure to keep a good tune and get a bottle warmer to keep the N2O pressure stable.
