I've never run it myself, but I know of quite a few people running 150 shots. Assuming your engine is in good condition to begin with, just get a good tune and take the proper safety precautions (window switch, etc) and you'll be ok.

Did I mention a tune?

300 shot should be okay... no, no no.. I need to lay off the sauce...
I'd say 125 with a few degree's less timing to be safe...

What are your plans....are u throwing the nitrous on there just for fast ET's at the track or is this for a little kick in the ass for your street car. For a street car i'd run a 100 shot and be done with it....that way your not pushing any limits. Most of your motor is pretty stock though...you still retain the stock rotating assembly and stockish heads. Are you planning on just getting a chip or running a tweecer setup?

Start off with the lower setting and learn how to read the plugs and tune it. I ran 175 for years on a stock bottom end with no issues at all, tune up like anything is critical.

Do some small pulls turn the car off and read the plugs....only true way to know what is going on, if you let it idle it will change the reading on the plug. The bleuing on the ground strap will show you how your timing is doing, the porcelin will tell you how it is running rich/lean. I have a Moroso spark plug magnifier and it is worth every penny.

The NX stuff is very nice, be sure to blow out all the lines before installing, also never use TEFLON tape, always use liquid. I have 2 brand new 2-1/16" Autometer Phantom pressure gauges if your interested, white faced.

I agree with the above. But alos make sure you are getting the proper fuel you will be needing and also keep some high octane in the tank.I have pushed stock motor's to a 225 shot with no problem's before but that one back fire will be what kil's it at the size of a shot.I run a seperate fuel pump for the nitrous because of one back fire I had at a 175 shot.Luckly it did not hurt it just left a little burn mark on the piston and blew out the head gasket and warped the intake.150 shot is really safe to mess with.
