Nitrous questions

a dry kit relies on the computer to add the additional fuel and a wet kit adds the correct amount of fuel for the shot you are using with the nitrous. You should buy a kit with a rpm window switch and you will need a colder plug. NX or NOS kits will recommend exactly what you need. There is also a fuel pressure saftey switch that can be used. Most kits up to a 150 shot are designed to use the other stock engine parts. A Tune with the nitrous is a good idea. :D

grasshopper start small and work up. Also keep in mind if your bottle pressure isn't high enough you won't feel it as much. Personally after looking at the lower intake I won't go over 125 shot and I'm happy (ok for now) with the 100 shot. I just think it's too much fuel flowing through the intake and too big a chance for a puddle and boom. Also I doubt you can go over a 100 dry shot. If your wanting to hit it with a 150 a focus pump would be a good idea and so would a tune.

wet kit , window switch so that it will not spray under at least 3000 rpm=no puddling. As with any nitrous application, there is always more risk of something failing. A wet kit still uses the same fuel pump, it just adds the fuel through the intake. A dry kit , the computer adds the additional fuel through the injuctors. Properly tuned you can get by with a 150 on the stock fuel pump. get a fuel pressure saftey switch. smallet shot is deff. safer bet.

Check with a NOS ditributor or call Holley. The NOS Dry kit pn/ 05171nos( I believe this is the right kit) is a nice easy to install and works very well. I really like the NX wet on 99+ but the NOS on pre 99. It can be set up for 75 to 150 and uses stock equipment. Make sure you are running copper plugs and I like a step colder. Do not run with platinums. Are you using any kind of timing advance or programmer? if so , you will want to put timing back to stock. Follow manufacturers reccomendations for tune and install.
