Seriosuly, do you even know what your talking about?

Nitrous can be as safe as a blown motor setup or turbo. You just need to use your brain and buy all the safety parts.

Most people that come to this board and say "help me I blew my engine with nitrous!" are the people that didn't use a window switch, sprayed 150 dry, and sprayed all the way to 5th gear. So don't come here and give nitrous a bad name, when you have no personal experience, or knowledge about this subject.

Your personal experience must have been caused by your personal mistake. Nitrous is just as safe as any other FI method as long as it is used properly, end of story.

I don't use it, but i wouldn't think twice about it if i did. I wouldn't be afraid of it as long as i know I'm using it how it's supposed to be used.

Why don't you explain to everyone what happened to you.

Personal experience since before I was born?!

Does that mean youv'e been spraying with out the proper safety devices and tunes for 20 years?

Nitrous have been PROVEN to be safe as long as you take the proper precautions. Guys like you spread rumors and say "Nitrous will blow your engine!!!" because you made the mistake of spraying too much or didn't take the proper precautions. So please, stop talking.

OK, so the 20 is your IQ... it shows, if it wasn't for us old guys experimenting you BOYS wouldn't be where you are now! Nitrous is cheap HP not safe but believe what you want. BTW why only a 50 shot, you still live with mommy and can't afford more or afraid to stick a 400 shot in that thing since it's so safe.

The personal attacks obviously show that you can't be mature. Nitrous IS cheap horsepower, but that doesn't make it unsafe. What makes it unsafe is when people like you slap on nitrous without using the right precautions.

And I'm not spraying more than 50 right now because I've decided to go a different route with the car. But that has nothing to do with this subject.

Why have so many people used nitrous safely? Why are there pro drag cars spraying 400-500 shots SAFELY? Sounds like you need to get your info straight bud....

Well besides the little fairy fights....I just purchased a zex wet kit, pressure gauge, zex window switch, and bottle heater. I paid 732 bucks shipped. So don't give me all this crap about how safe nitrous kits are 2 grand. I'll be paying another 300 for tune. That's a safe 125 shot for a G. Can't complain about that.

By the way, when you guys are talking about upgrading to the focus fuel pump, is that a direct take out of any Focus, or the duel setup?

Ford SVT Focus pump, directly from the ford focus. You can buy them brand new for $100 from the dealer or online.

What does age have anything to do with who knows what? Us young guys know alot about cars as well and just because you're older doesn't mean your opinion on cars means more. Attacking 3 members with personal crap isn't the way to provide good info or even stick around here for long.
If you do the Nitrous setup, just do it right the first time and don't spray more than a 100 shot.

Learn to read and quite beating a dead horse! They started the crap, I gave an opinion and they didn't like it. If you give expect to receive. young , yeah... been driving for 2 or 3 yrs, how much can you know other than what you have heard and then you just repeat it without knowing. I only comment on experience. damn let it go or we can go a few if you like!

You can learn a lot in 2-3 years. Most people can become ASE certified within 1 year

You came in this thread providing no technical support whatsoever. No help, just negative comments. So please don't post just because you've had a bad experience with nitrous. You obviosuly don't know how to properly run a kit, or what its limitations are....

I'm done arguing...this needs to be a technical thread, not a frickin' soap opera.

Does your mother know you’re up this late?? You better get to bed before she finds out. So this is what you Boys call arguing?? Yeah, you helped so much saying NOS is safe, so for all of you that believe this your in for a shocker. I don't care how you set it up because it destroys your engine. Do you know anything about oil ringing the heads? If not you don't know as much as you think and this should be the first step in installing NOS along with about $3000 worth of other Mods and if you have no idea what I'm talking about then you "You obviously don't know how to properly run a kit, or what its limitations are...." Good luck knowitall BTW, I'm an original team member of the Hueytown gang so I know what I'm talking about! And you a little kid that thinks he does!
