Nitrous Suggestion...

I'm looking to buy an nitrous kit (wet), and what to know what set-ups you guys are running, how you like them, and crap like that... My mods are in my sig, and i was looking to run a 100-125 shot and I'm looking for a suggestion. I do have a bit of a limited budget(around $500/600) Any help appriciated thanks

compucar or nitrous carry a lifetime warranty.i bought a compucar wet kit off e-bay for $300 because the warranty follows the kit from one owner to another...it will be hard to stay between $500-$600....for a properly run system.you will need a filter is very important ensure one comes with the kit if not purchase one and you will need a few relays a window switch, a fuel pressure cutoff switch, you will need a bottle heater and automatic cutoff switch for the heater. a nitrous pressure guage and a blow down tube...you don't need all the above to run nitrous but in my opinion the above items are the bare minimum you will need to run nitrous safely and efficiently and alot of tracks won't let you run nitrous without a blowdown tube....you will need to figure in the above items which do not come with the kit as extra expenses....and it gets expensive..

I was looking at the nitrous works system, which mounts a plate between the tb and erg to spray the air and fuel, as opposed to just tapping into the intake tube. Any of you guys used this? What about Zex, nos, or edelbrock? opinions appriciated

I am putting in a NX plate system right now. It goes inbetween the upper and lower intake. I like that a lot better than the ones that inject higher up in the intake. The ones that inject higher up don't hit as hard, make a little less power are are more prone to puddling (our intakes arn't exactly designed for fluid to be flying through them

I got it brand new on Ebay for 700, (summit sells them for 900) their is a guy on their that is always sellign them, if interested I will get his seller name for you. He is a good guy

I run a Trickflow wet plate kit. The same style as 352ford has. In fact I think that the TFS kit is basically a rebadged NX kit.

Nice kit, adjustable from 50-200. And since I got it for Christmas it basically was free :D
