What do u guys suggets on who i get the kit from, reason i ask is because i have heard about some of the people that make nitrous kits are kinda bad.

The ZEX kits are great. A lot of people talk trash about nitrous and they are misinformed or they set up their kits completely wrong. Check out on brenspeed.com they've got everything you need.

That's the way I'm going, too. I'm going to get the Zex kit and all the goodies. I'll start out with the 75 shot. At 100+, it's a good idea (actually, pretty much a requirement) to run colder plugs and get a custom tune. As long as you're tuned for it and have the proper plugs, you can run 125-150 on the stock pistons. I'm going to stay at 100, though. I'm just starting out at 75 to get used to it.

+1 on the zex kit. I run it currently at 75 shot but got 100 shot tune from Doug to run when I'm ready. The kit is easy to install and looks cleaner than the other kits imo.

The stigma of Nitrous will always scare me, but it is a possibility.

Just a question... How long does a single bottle tend to last?

It just really depends on how big of a shot you're running and how much you use it. I mean if you use a 50 or 75 shot, it's going to last a lot longer than spraying a 150 shot. I've never ran nitrous on any of my own cars, this will be my first, so I can't exactly say. Sorry, I can't help out more.

Did you buy just the kit or are you running additional stuff? If so, what?

Thumper - I know some guys that run the base kit but I wanted all the the gizmos and gadgets, so I added the purge kit, blow down kit, remote bottle opener, electronic gadges, bottle heater (a must have), HT0 plugs (Colder) and just installed zex's traction control switch since I am going to a 100 shot. I put in some pics of my setup - hope this helps.
