2 things that would keep a 3G from "turning on"
Disconnecting Fuse Line F which feeds the two Bk/O wires and Fuse link E. If you have 12V on the Y/W wire, this is likely not the case.
Swapping an LED into the cluster. This creates a lot of problems.
