Well today i need to get the new quadrant in as this car is my daily driver and i cant get to work or school. I have the stock one because it was readily available to me, the aftermarket i would have had to order. In the stock pakage I got the shaft that the clutch pedal bolts to....on the end of the shaft has the 2 gears that are held with springs. So my question is....will I have to replace the whole shaft...meaning remove pedal assembly. Or can I just take the gears from the knew one and out them on the old shaft. I have the tougher smaller gear on the shaft now but I cant get its spring on, If I could just get the spring on it would only take about 10 mins from there.
Please anyhelp at all would be greaty appreciated.

I'm really having a hard time picturing this. Are you saying you took the stock quadrant apart?
