Do you have the correct wiring harness that goes to the transmission? or are you trying to rig up the one from the auto?

Cause when I did the aod to t5 conversion I ran into the same problem so I had to go to the bone yard and find a harness for the t5 then my car started right up.

guys ,, i have diagram for ignition switch connector

there should be a harness that came with the T5, plug that into the wire that attached to the neutral safety switch that was on the AOD.

you can also take a bolt and push that into the neutral safety switch harness underneath the car. this should ground the harness and complete the circuit allowing the engine to start.

lastly you can rig a start button by putting a button or switch inside the car and running a wire from each lead on the button to the poles on the starter relay.

all three of these will allow the car to start in gear so make sure the car is in neutral before you start it!

The NSS is already jumped and if you use the auto computer you dont have to run a harness. Is the starter connected correct? The only thing I have hooked up to my tranny is the reverse lights. Your switch on your pedals may be bad if you hooked it up.
