No more 4x4

Dropped the car about an inch and a half, no more 4x4 look! I'll update the thread later this week once my hood scoop is on and the bumper inserts are done.

I cut them. I don't drag race, and I haven't noticed any difference in performance street driving, no noises, etc. I did a lot of research and found lot of people that say it's ok, others say NEVER do it. I tried it, if I didn't like I'd just buy a set of lowering springs. So far I'm happy, time will tell.

Looks great! I cut springs before with no problems on these cars! Car looks so unmolested with those stock wheels. Like a time machine

The car is pretty much stock!
I really like these wheels, and it took me a while to find one that still had them. I really like the bullits, but am really thinking about keeping these on.

I had trimmed fox 4 bangers in the front and trimmed GT in the rear of my 95. I also had trimmed eibach drag lanch in the front, and trimmed GT in the rear of my 02. If you don't go to much the ride isn't bad. If you do go to much it will KILL the dampeners. You won't be winning any auto-x or open track with them, but if you keep it within reason its not a bad ride. Only suggestion I make is get some fox dampeners. They are shorter.

I was never a lowering fan until I bought my 01 that was already lowered. The ride quality is fairly harsh but the profile looks tight. Your looks much better!!

Keep those wheels if your looking for quicker ride, bullitts are what, 40lbs. those like 17lbs.

No problems with cutting em at all, I've done it to both Fox cars I've had with no ill effects, just gotta be reasonable. I'm considering cutting my Eibachs, just not quite as low as I want it to be. Just put a set of Saleens on my car, and that lil bit of fender gap I got is still killing me.

Car looks great though. I'd stick with the stockers for now and put the money toward black housing headlights and a Mach 1 chin. '99-'00 headlights FTL.

Looks pretty damn nice. I would go with chrome Saleens, or black Bullits with chrome deep dish, but to each his own. What percent tinit is that, btw?

Those stock rims don't "pop". Nothing changes the look of a ride more drastically than nice wheels, imo.

You're right, style or quicker times, to each his/her own. Are planning on long tubes, I think they rub the ground on some lowered vehicles.
