I just read on another forum that there aren't any incentives any more on manual mustang GTs. Sure enough I go and check it out on ford.com and there aren't any. Thanks Ford for taking your sweet arse time on getting my car here. Oh and on top of that, for the nice swift kick in the balls to follow with having to pay more money. No really much appreciated. I mean I only ordered it on December 27th and it was built on the 15th of February.

I'm not resentful or anything. Just such a crock that there has been $1000 incentive the entire time that I have been waiting, and now in what has to be close to delivery, nothing.

Have you called the dealer to see if they will honor the incentives?

I know they won't, when I ordered it he said whatever is out there when I take delivery is what I can get. That isn't a dealer specific thing either I don't think. I believe that is sent down from those bastards above.

My understanding was that whatever rebates or incentives are in place at the time of delivery are what you get. I got screwed when mine came in, as there was a military rebate for the 06's, but it wasn't extended to the 07's. My salesman tried to tell me it covered the 07's when I ordered the car, but I had done my homework and knew better than to trust him.
My question is if your car was built on 15 Feb, where is it? It's not like it had to be shipped to the opposite end of the country.

Oh, tell me about it. It is a 6 hour drive. But I had my dealer track it and as of yesterday morning, it was still sitting in Michigan on the same lot it has been for 3 weeks now. They said it might be in this Friday........ right haven't heard that every day for the last two months. Oh well I am getting married Saturday and will be out of the country for the next week. I don't think I will have a problem keeping it off my mind in jamaica.

Dealers are saying the $1000 rebate is STILL in effect, but NONE of the Ford.com webpages (Forddirect.com, Fordvehicles.com, Ford's X-Plan login to Forddirect.com) are showing incentives for 2007 GTs.

I was told that. And I think there is a $650 bonus if the car is an automatic.

The incentives shown of Ford's website are often incorrect, which can be very frustrating.

The correct incentives will always be shown on Ford's Vincent system at the dealers. The only problem is that you have to ask the dealer and then are dependent on them being honest with you, and you must have an actual in stock vehicle to verify the incentives.

Ordered vehicles will not show incentives because you get whatever incentives are in effect at the time you take delivery. One of the risks in ordering.
