No Oil Pressure

I got on the interstate and got up to speed. Looked down and my oil presure read none so I pulled over and killed it crunk her back up and it showed to be normal so i then killed it and got out and checked the oil and it was full. so i got back in and crunk it up and it worked fine so i came on home. What do yall think is going on? Mabey just the guage went crazy or somting?

Sensor going bad....if possible, tie in a real oil pressure gauge just to alleviate any concerns.

Ok I changed the oil and filter. When I went to check the oil the dip stick was bent at the bottom so i straighted it back up.. then I checked my oil put it back in then started it up.. well I pulled it out again to recheck it and teh stick was bent again and when i went to straighin it back out it broke off.... so do yall think.. oil presurre is still normal also

Dont know whats wrong w/ the car but definetly dont spray any nos b4 u get the problem completely fixed or you'll have a blown 99GT and not like the good blown

i wonder how much the ford place will charger for a new dip stick.. also i intend on gettin a oil pressure guage instead of a water temp gauge like i was gonna get.. I don't see how any thing could be wrong interaly if the oil presure stays up and the engine runs fine.

Bent the oil stick? That's wierd. I'd call Ford to see if they would know what would cause that. Doesn't sound good.

yeah it was bent. I was kinda wondering what was going on. Then when it did it the second time i bent it back and it broke off. Now it wont hardly go all the way down. and when you get it to go all the way down it won't give you a reading. I just shows a little bit of oil at the bottom. But when it was all there it showed that I had peanly of oil.

No idea of how it got bent....I put an Autometer oil pressure gauge on because I want to know the true pressure at all times....I just don't feel confindent with the stock gauge when I am working the engine hard.
