I have no smog and no a/c with the ford racing a/c delete kit and a 3G alternator. I use a 71.5" belt. Goodyear gatorback part # 4060715. Its a tight fit on mine.

How about a size for no a/c, no a/c delete kit, and no smog pump ? Just one going around the alt, water pump, crank, p/s pump, nad the tensioner.

Well Mod it looks like we are out of luck. I need to replace mine but the size is not right cause whoever put it on used a metal bar to move the alt and just slapped on a belt. The 50tech.com site doesn't have routing for what we need. Aslo where is your p/s pump? mine is attached to a bracket on the drivers side head and water pump. Is this right or did someone just rig this up?

I should be able to tell you tonight if it's on a 5.0. I spent last night running back and forth to the parts store changing belts. The one I have now is Gates 716 and it's too short. That's supposed to be a 72" belt. The 73.5 belt was too long. I'll post tonight once I get the right one.

my power steering is lower than the water pump....but i have heard alot of people move the power steering up where the ac was to keep the belt from rubbing against itself on the waterpump...

With my FMS AC delete, no smog and stock everything else I needed a 70.5" belt anything bigger wouldn't work for me. It was a real REAL tight fit.

I set it up using the normal belt routing. The only difference is, the belt now goes above and below the tensioner. It rides on the up side to the alternator, and below from the alt to the water pump. It is just like the one in the lower right corner, only the belt from the PS to the Alt is on top of the tensioner. I just looked at that one, that isn't correct. Route it like your stock belt, go over and below the tensioner.
