Hey guys,
Well I just finished my GT40 rebuild and it crank but won't start. I got it to start for a short second but then the rpm's dropped off unless I held the throttle down. My associate wasn't around to hold the throttle for me while I make adjustments. I for sure have spark to the plugs, my jets squirt fuel when the throttle is applied, & I stabbed the distributor in @ TDC with the rotor button pointing to the #1.
The engine is a GT40 Exploder engine. All stock except for a TFS1 Cam, Stealth Intake, FRPP Balancer & Oil Pump Shaft, TrickFlow Valve Springs, & an Edelbrock 1406. I'm running a Distributor from a 85 Mustang, along with MSD 6AL and MSD Blaster 2 Coil. Not sure what else to tell y'all, any questions or comments to help please do.
