Those of you that were following my build up thread over the past few months prob know the car didnt run that great once I brought it to the track after all the new parts were put on. I was not expecting to run steller times knowing it was not tuned yet but there were also other factors. I ended up doing two runs at 13.7 @106 and 105 after running 12.884 @107 w/ my last combo (Cobra intake, 90MM Meter, Crower 15512 Camshaft)

One of the big issues was that I did not know where my fuel PSI was set it due to not having a gauge. I got one but had to send it back b/c it was leaking the fluid. Got the replacement one today got it on the car, fired it up and pulled the vacuum line off the adjustable regulator, and the gauge was pegged as far as it would go, past 60 PSI . No wonder it ran so bad. Hell the car even felt a lot stronger even w/ it being so damn rich. It makes me wonder how much power I was leaving on the table just do to the fuel PSI. I did not take it out to drive it b/c its all cleaned for the FFW Show on Sunday but I cant wait to see how much better it drives now that its not chocking its self out w/ fuel.

Went back to Epping tonight after fixing the fuel PSI and getting it to where it should be. Before when the fuel pressure was jacked I ran two 13.7's at 105 and 106 MPH.

Tonights times.

Run #1.

1/8th 8.516

MPH 85.82

1/4 13.120

MPH 108.99

Run #2

60' 1.978

1/8th 8.413

MPH 86.97

1/4 12.979

MPH 110.87

Run #3

60' 1.890

1/8th 8.322

MPH 86.74

1/4 12.920

finally back in the 12's again. I left the track feeling pretty good. Its running 110 MPH untuned.

Was this with the new ET Streets? Cause I'd venture to guess you could probably do in the 1.7-1.6 60' range and have the car running low 12's pretty easily. I'm glad you got the fuel issues sorted out and are back on track...literally.

Yeah I said screw it and put them on and risked getting failed at Tech b/c of not having the long wheel studs in yet. Learned not go to to lane 1 for tech b/c that one guy that gave me crap only works that lane so I just moved over one and got a different guy. I need some more suspension work done, Im hoping to have some LCA by the end of the season and that will help out w/ the 60' times more.
