The noise is on my buddy's 1990 LX, it sounds like a whine or a squeak coming right from the distributor just after start up. It usually lasts until the car warms up, about 10-15 minutes. I am guessing a bent shaft on the distributor? The car runs fine, but the noise seems to be more common lately.
