Got another question for ya'll. I just installed a Pro-5.0 shifter in my 95 GT and now there seems to be alot of excess noise from the shifter. Is there something I can put in there to block this noise? Another thing, when i'm in first, there are times when the stick falls out of first and into neutral, bad clutch or tranny going? Thanks for any help.

Did you reinstall the rubber shift boot? This doesn't block much noise but helps. Noise isn't much of an issue to me compared to the quality of the aftermarket shifter.
My radio is always on anyhow.
As far as the shifter coming out of 1st, did you set the stop bolt correctly? When you set it, make sure there is a slight gap between the bolt and the shifter.

Mine makes to much noise coming thru the shifter to, I have a Pro5.0 to, but its my exhaust....I just removed the boot and tucked some thick rags all around the tunnel....made sure all was cool shifting and buttoned it up...... It really quiets it down...
