After driving the car, i step out and shut the door. When I shut it, I hear the sound of rustling leaves/sizzling sound. I only hear it when the engine is still warm. I check under the under the car and there is nothing there. It sounds like its coming from the area where the cats are. anyone know what it could be? I have 750 miles on the car..

I get the same thing. It's almost a sound like the cabin re-pressurizing after you open and close the door. It's almost the same sound when you turn the car off, then the AC and then switch to vent only (that depressurization of the AC system.)

yep, you have nothing to worry about. its the cabin represurizing,(sp), the a/c compressor, or just condensation dripping onto your exaust. if you ever get headers, you might have the sound comming from the headers as well when you turn your car off. (LT's, or midi's)

On the passenger side, right above where the stock manifold bolts to the midpipe there is a little hose that is open. This is where the condensation that builds up on the A/C system drains. When you get out and shut the door, it shakes the car a bit and the water will drip onto the hot exhaust. Up until a few days ago I figured that was what it was, but wasn't sure. Then, a few days ago I crawled under there to tighten my exhaust up and it dripped onto the exhaust and then onto my face. I shined a light up there and saw the little hose poking out of the firewall. Don't worry about it. It's nothing.
