Ok well it just started today it sounds like it might be the idler pulley but i am not quite sure what that sounds like...i will get a sound clip of it...but could a lose belt cause a simaler problem...i had the car sitting for 5 weeks in cold weather and when i came back the belt squeeled when i first started it up but that when away after 10min so i thought noting of it till today. Any ideas would be helpful.

Edit:
It almost sounds like a blower with cam....but i check....and sadly no blower...damn gremlins

Check the spring tightness of the tensioner. It maybe loosening up and allowing the belt to slip a bit.

Get a long (12 inches or longer) screwdriver or wood dowel rod and touch various suspected noise causing areas while holding next to your ear with the car at idle.

Kinda like the doctor and the stethascope (sp?) thing.

Watch out for the spinning parts.

When the idler pulley went on my '98 Cobra, it was a howling noise at higher RPM's, didn't happen when it was idling, and wasn't as loud as a squealing belt would be. For what it's worth .
