Dur, haven't you heard of the 94-04 srs?

Says so right on the steering wheel, man! Where ya been?!

I don't think it was a "special" model, though. Every single one I have ever seen is an srs. Never seen one that didn't say it on the wheel.

Dont forget the 90-93 SRS models.

To the OP, can you hear the rattle when the hood is open or while you're driving; we need way more info.

hahaha, yeah....I busted up laughing when I first saw the post, but didn't say anything and then someone did...and it snowballed, and my only thought was "poor guy thinks we're all A-holes now" Come back in new2stang02.....It could be your heater core tubes, or the tube that goes from your h-pipe to the egr tubing on that side

take another listen to see if it's from the front or back of the engine bay. If it's at idle that helps A LOT, cause you can just park the sucker and poke your head around. Chasing stuff down that only makes noise going down the road is a PITA!

its spelled Camaro btw. and yeah, try listening around see what part of the engine its coming from. Im thinking maybe your oil pick up might be going bad and its not pumping up the oil at idle. but that would make a more knocking noise. You sure its a rattle? check and see if theres anything visibly loose.

wow. could be anything. Do you have cats with heat sheilds? They tend to rattle particularily at idle. Usually thin tin that becomes loose over time and rattle like CRAZY.
