Does anyone have any ideas for quieting a noisey fuel pump ?

The bigger the pump the louder it is. You should here my 255lph!! Sometimes stock ones get loud when they go bad, but I don't know it there is much you can do. You could undercoat the tank with a hardened rubberized coating.
