noisy tie rods

Hi guys, I'm trying to sell my car but the tie rods are creeking a little. I'm pretty sure it's attributed to not using offset steering rack bushings. About 2.5 years ago I lowered my car with Eibach Sportlines (2"), some KYB struts/shocks and Steeda CC's.

About 6 months ago the noise started appearing and has gotten progressively worse. I'm afraid this is turning away perspective buyers. I may need to fix this before I sell it but worried I may not be able to afford the parts (unemployed).

What are prices running for tie rods these days? I know I'll need an alignment (already discouraging to my wallet).

Any other opinions on what I should do are welcome.

edit: forgot to mention, it's a '98 Cobra

hey matey, i have a 98 cobra that had a similar problem a few months back. as a temporary fix, i bought some canned spray on lithium white grease. (im in the UK so not sure whether you stock it there.) i poked a hole in the rubber bush at the very bottom, and went to town with this grease. stopped them squeals in their tracks. i sprayed em around 2 months ago, and around a thousand miles, still havent returned. like i said its only a temporary fix but if you let the buyer know that the tie rod ends may need changing shortly, it covers yourself should there be any set backs.

hope this helps
