non painted 2.5 inch cowl induction?

I can get a non-painted in good shape 2.5 inch cowl induction for $100.00.. what do you guys think should i get it? i feel like 2.5 inch is too small.

Too small? It looks like you have a stock motor? You don't even need a cowl induction to fit a motor or intake under

Is it fibreglass or carbon fibre? If it's a steel hood I'd let it go. If it's a lightweight hood I'll take it if you don't!

that's your call man, is it something you want? 100 bucks is a good price, but like i said it's up to you, if your car is white, lots of fiberglass hoods come white so you can strip the paint and be in good shape, if it's somethign you want

im gonna go look at it.

also, by the way just bc my motor is'nt modded. does'nt mean i cant get a nice hood.

I put a 2.5" on my 93 about 2 months ago. I thinks it looks great. You'll lose about 25 lbs. and the air flows around the engine and out the cowl. It allows the engine to run cooler. I used hood pins and removed the stock latch. I didn't get it painted yet. It's gel coat white and my car is white.

that's kinda a place to place thing, you can call around and probly get it for cheep, i have a 89 vert that was white and bought a ram air hood for it and never painted it and you could'nt tell, if it's white under the primer, i'd take paint remover to it "off the car!!!" and that'd be ok till you get it painted, i'd try to do a paint job on the whole car as aposed to just the hood, but that's me.

I think a 2.5" or a 3" is perfect as long as it is fiberglass or CF.

be carefull of the fit... I see a lot of people buy cervani hoods because of the nightmare post /w cheap ones, if it's new it might be all warped.

if it's on the guys car just look at it, see how it sits, pop the hood and see how it moves, if all is good, remove, install, enjoy
