It seems that the general consensus of the basic TwEECer is that it is worthless and that without the datalogging capability, any changes made are nothing more than a total shot in the dark. If that's the case, what good is the basic model? Is it just a $400 paperweight? How does the company ever sell them if they are so worthless? Does anybody really own one of these, and if so, how are you using it?

I would say no, but you can get the Moates QuarterHorse for $150 less and be able to datalog. You'll need to spend another $80 on Binary Editor, so you can use it, but you'll still come out ahead.
