Alright, I know this is probably very elementary, but alas, I do not know. Can anybody explain to me how to put hose ends on braided stainless steel lines? I'm trying but I frankly don't know wtf I'm doing.

you have pictures and explain where these lines go and sizes....what typeor link to seller there are alot of different types of end fittings...the manufacturer or place of purchase should have the info. you require...

ok you disconnect the fitting blue from the red.. the braided hose end should be taped....this is very important because if the end needs to be taped tightly so no frayed ends wont catch on blue piece... slide hose into red end thru to the other side and push taped braided hose as far into blue fitting and screw tight this is what locks the braided hose in place and if any frayed ends get in the way it wont work right.....hope this helps.....the tape is the key....repost results..

Thanks bill. The hose won't go all the way through the red piece. The front of the red piece, the opening is larger and there are very course threads, then towards the rear of it it narrows and there are the threads that screw onto the blue piece. So I guess I don't see how I can push the hose all the way through the red piece. I wish I could post some pictures, but I don't know how.

if it won't go thru push the line into the red piece as far as it will go and then tighten the blue piece it will catch and secure the line in place if you still have problems talk to summitt at 1800 230 3030 they will explain it....
