Hi guys, I just got my North Cobra rear disc brake brackets today. They are for 5 lug with 11.65" (Cobra) rotors and stock Fox length axles.

How do I tell if I have Cobra moan braces or GT ones? When I tried to put them on, the holes didn't line up. They were about 3/8" off.

Do I even need them with the North Cobra setup?

And finally, I have Ranger axles and drums in the car right now. Will I need to have the axle flanges turned down to fit in the rear Cobra rotors?

Cobra anti-moans on right. GT/V6 on left

You can try running without them. If you start getting moaning then you will need to install them.

You will need to make spacers for the rotors to fit on the axles flange. The Axle hub has an OD of 2.5" while the Cobra Rotor hub has an ID of 2.75"

You just need to find a 2.5" ID/2.75" OD peice of pipe and cut a 1/4" sliver off to use as a spacer to keep the rotor centered. The lug holes will center the rotor but there will be a small amount of play.
