nos installation question.

i will be installing a wet nx system on my 5.0 this weekend.
Everything seems pretty straight forward. the only thing i am having trouble figuring out is the position of the woot switch on the tb.
Can anyone post a pic of their current set up so i can use it as a guide?

Do you mean the Throttle Position Sensor? If you look at your TB on the opposite side of where the gas pedal's cables connect to the TB is where the TPS is.

no, he means the wot switch. i have nitrous and had a bit of trouble figureing out how to mount it. ill take a pic when i get home (im at school now) and try and post it up for you. The only difference is that mine is a NOS dry kit. But the switch should be fairly the same.

Just fab up a bracket out of some aluminum, bend it, drill a couple holes and mount it up. Shouldn't be too hard. I bought a direct bolt on bracket + WOT switch from Edelbrock and it bolted right on... Of course, this was for my carbed 83...

Seems like it would easier/more effective to use a switch that simply reads the tps voltage....you already have a 'wide open throttle switch' in the form of the tps sensor - that's what the ecu uses.

yeah, but people just generally use what the kit comes with. Well, at least me.

Why settle for an inferior approach? I'm sure you'll work out an acceptable mount - good luck!
