Wanting to get a couple of GOOD fenders. I have tried repo fender before, and the best I could find did not fit too great. Anyone used the original tooling ones yet? If not I am going to have to try to find me some NOS fenders.

Any Ideas??

Thanks

I have tried repops, they suck, PERIOD!!! I looked at some of the "original tooling" fenders for my 68. The guy at northcoast mustang here in cleveland even hung it on a couple cars he had in the shop to show me how well they fit. They are light years ahead of the imported junk. I am buying an original tooling drivers side fender for mine this spring

I would say they are the closest thing you will find without keeping the fenders that were on your car when it came of the assembly line. Or paying through the nose for a set of NOS fenders that will probably need just as much work. Shop around and see who has the best price. I think for my 68 they are like 3-400 per side.
