Can I run NOS on a 2003 gt with a stock motor? I have heard you can burn up the pistons, or even blow up the motor. Are there any safe NOS kits? I have 4.10's in the rear. Are they too much for NOS?

You should have titled your post 4:10s vs 3:73's. That would have really got these forum members hot in the pants. Well, I think you will be safe with anything jetted 100 hp or less. Its only once in a while so its not as stressful as a supercharger or turbo. I believe the NX kit is one of the best. I am contemplating a NX kit jetted for around 75 hp myself. Let me know how yours go if you dedcide to pursue.

Well if you do you and the mad scientist will just have to rip apart the block and replace them. Just make sure while you are driving that you don't granny shift and make sure you double clutch like you should. :D

Oh, and say "Nitrious", not NOS. :nice:

Otherwise, you'll blow out your floorboard.

True...

But when you hear people talk about frying spark plugs and destroying motors they have violated several key rules of power adder usage. For example:
-Running lean
-To much timing advance
-Detonation/pre-ignition (see the previous two examples)

There are other things that can cause you problems but that was power adder basics and please do a search...
