There is no way a stock base model Boxster could ever beat an LS1. A Boxster S would even have a tough time. Boxster are made for corner carving, not straight lining.

really? i know they're nothing compared to the upper model porsches but i thought they were still quick? I'd be pissed if i bought a porsche that couldnt do at least a 13 in the 1/4, base model or not it's a damn Porsche, ya know? Sure it's made for cornering, but if it's much slower it may as well be a Mazda Miata.
